Q. What is Larger Tip?
A. Larger Tip is a nationwide customized restaurant membership club.
The card allows up to three requests to tell your server how you want to be treated. It takes the guess work out and allows the server to better serve you.
Q. Why should I pay $25 to belong to Larger Tip?
A. The Larger Tip card allows the member a convenient and discrete way of telling their server what they want. Some people have a hard time verbalizing their wants and needs. IE. Someone may have allergies, or not wanting to wait for the check or would like the bill handed to them. It is all about having an enjoyable dining experience.
*People will pay an annual fee to be part of AAA and not even use their benefits. With the Larger Tip card, if you go out once a week or every other week and use your card, you will be using the card 26-52 times per year. The Larger Tip card is good for a lifetime membership.
Q. Which restaurants can I use my Larger Tip card?
A. You will be able to use your Larger Tip card nationwide in any restaurant that has a wait staff, may it be chain or private restaurants casual –fine dining. We have found that all of our servers welcomed the card in all types of restaurants.
Q. What is the best way to give my card to the server?
A. The best and easiest way to present the card is after the server takes your beverage or meal order. Simply say, "Could you please read the front and back of my card and return it to me?” They may take the card into an area that has better light, but they will return it to you.
Q. How much tip should I leave?
A. The normal tip is 15 -20% of the bill. With the Larger Tip card, if you are receiving wonderful customized service you should leave at least 20% of the bill. When a tip of 15-18% is added onto a party of 6 or more an additional amount should be left to equal at least 20% or more of the bill.
Q. I don’t have a Pay Pal account; can I still use my regular credit card?
A. YES!
Larger Tip accepts Visa, M/C, Discover, AMEX, Pay Pal, personal checks and money orders.
Some people may think they don’t need a Larger Tip card until they receive poor restaurant service. Come see the difference in service by using the card!
